The short version: we collect only what you type into the contact form, we use it only to respond to you, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for marketing.

What we collect, and why
The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address (optional), and the description of your basement problem. We use it for exactly one purpose — to respond to your request, book the assessment and prepare your quote.
Submissions are delivered to our email and retained as ordinary business correspondence. We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing lists, and we never sell or rent them to anyone.
Spam protection
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser to make that call; it is operated by Cloudflare, Inc. under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies of its own and does not require any to work. We may use a standard analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site — page views, approximate location, device type. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Embedded third-party content
Some pages load resources from third parties, which see your IP address as part of serving them: Google Maps (the service-area and contact maps) and Google Fonts (typefaces). Each operates under Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
You can browse the whole site without submitting anything. If you have sent us your details and want them corrected or deleted, email info@basementwaterproofingbarrie.ca and we will do it — unless we are required to keep a record (for example, for an active quote, warranty or invoice).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will not apply retroactively to information collected under the old version.
